New Zealand Government Covid - 19 Protection Framework

The government has announced a move to the Covid-19 Protection Framework as of 11:59pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021. From this date, all our venues will require vaccination certificates to operate. This means that everyone on site including our staff will need to show proof of vaccination to dine.

All of our venues will follow the guidelines set by the New Zealand Government based on the regional Covid-19 protection framework setting.

When you visit us at Rātā this is what you can expect:

At Red

We are open - vaccine pass/certificate required
Up to 100 people limit on site, based on 1m distancing
Record keeping/scanning required
Face coverings required 

At Orange

We are open - vaccine pass/certificate required
No limit on the number of people on site
Record keeping/scanning required
Face coverings required 

At Green

We are open - vaccine pass/certificate required
No limit on the number of people on site
Record keeping/scanning required
Face coverings encouraged indoors


RESERVATION POLICY


Booking & Cancellation Policy

All reservations made for Rata Restaurant must be accompanied by valid Visa or MasterCard credit card to confirm your booking. No deposit will be processed on your card but should you need to cancel or reduce the numbers in your party the below process must be followed ;

Cancellation or changes to your booking must be made more than 24 hours prior to your booking by contacting Rata Restaurant by email on [email protected] or by phone +64 3 442 9393.

A $100 NZD charge per person for dinner or $50NZD charge per person for lunch will be charged to the nominated credit card if your booking is not cancelled prior to 24 hours or your group are a no show for your confirmed booking.

The above charges also apply to notification for changes in numbers for your group. This must be made at least 6 hours prior to your booking.

Our reservation platform operated by Eveve guarantees to maintain the privacy of the data provided through the use of STRIPE which performs this function applying the highest safety standards worldwide.
